John #8...
Did you ever go somewhere & realize it used to be a different
place? & it dawns on you that some things are not here anymore.

Ali...
Yes, well I didn't go anywhere, the place just changed while I wasn't
looking. :^(

Of course, some other things are not here yet. & nothing seems
to be where it used to be; everything's been moved. Sometimes
I think if we could just put everything back where it originally was,
the ringing in my head would stop.

Tyke...
LOL

I have had a huge dose of that after visiting the UK from a 6 year absence.

Tip--Never get on a plane if the pilot is wearing a hat

Hi Tyke & friends. When I returned from the UK after
3.6 years I remember walking up this hill to my home
& thinking it's the same. %&*#@. That was a awful
day for me. Anyway glad to see you posting Tyke, &
your witty pals.

that has more then three pastel colors. Bad mojo.

I had to fly once by helicopter from Penzance to the Isles of Scilly - a
flight of about 30 miles over open water.
The pilot was sat there wearing his raincoat over his uniform - I wondered
at the time what he knew and wasn't telling us :-)
He didn't exactly fill me with confidence that morning!

Bet! Just leave that bottle of aspirin here. Thanks.

I went back to my childhood neighborhood a few years
ago and also visited the park nearby. I was surprised at
how familiar it all still was. The swings I used to swing on
were still there and I swung (swang?) on them again.
Talk about nostalgia! The white brick elementary school
was still on the corner and so was the store we used
to call "Joe's Candy Store". So much was still the same.
It was strange to see the house I had lived in as a kid.
It was still the same orange brick. The neighbors' red
brick houses looked the same too.
The biggest change was that there was a big highway
around the corner. It used to be just a busy street.
