Splodge...
A huge caterwauling from Kafer at 2am this morning - a large "foreign" cat
in my kitchen, who then promptly ran across the work surfaces and went
behind the curtains on the windowsill. So much for magnetic catflaps - they

BunnyHare...
That must have been frightening. I see lower down though that you may
have sorted it so that no foreigners get through the cat flap again. I
do hope so. We used to live next door to a family who allowed the cat
access to the house through an open window. Trouble was nobody else
could leave their windows open or they would find a cat on the bed

Splodge...
Yes, it seems to have worked Barb. One of the cats was sitting on the back
doormat this morning - obviously waiting for the next party to start:))

obviously don't work, or the blighter came with his own magnet lol

jackie...
That was frightening Splodge, we don't have a cat flap thank goodness.
Delboy has to come and go when I say because the only place for a catflap in
this flat would be into our livingroom so we would not want any intruders in
there.
I don't think that cat will come back Splodge, you chasing it will probably
have frightened it away!!

Flyiñg Ñuñ 2°°6 +...
I don't have a catflap either. Gizmo is so good he always comes home and
sits patiently on the top step before I go to bed. He's quite often on his
bean bag fast asleep well before 23-00 and only rarely wants to go out
before I'm up and about. Well trained or what? :)

Splodge...
Yes, verrry well trained, FN. I came back from shopping this morning to find
a different cat in the kitchen. It turned into a battle of wills trying to
catch him, and everything on the windowsill, cactus plants etc finished up
on the floor - but he eventually sped out when I opened the back door:))

Cos I can't bend down too low, the girl upstairs just checked the catflap
settings for me. It was on the "in and out" setting - commonly known as "I'm
having a party" setting, which explains all the visitors. Whatever happened
to a peacful life lol

Judy...
When there's a will, there's always a way! lol

When I tried to chase him out he fled down the corridor and hid under the
bed, so I then had to chase him back into the kitchen, where it promptly
fled out through the catflap.

Judy...
See above. :c)

I shudder to think what I might have done to it if I had caught it cos Kafer
and Sherry were frightened and hissing like mad - and I was a bit cross
too:((((

Judy...
If you had caught it, I have to imagine that they would have rolled over and
gone to sleep. "Mom's taken care of the problem!
Yipeeee..............Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

My heart is still pounding. That's about enough excitement for now. I'm
going back to bed.

Splodge, (thankful she put her dressing gown on throughout all this!)

Foxy at w*rk...
Oh dear me Jan. How did the setting get changed I wonder

Splodge...
I think it was Kafer, Jen. He rattles his paw of the catflap like nothing
else. From the inside it sounds like a salvo of machine gun fire. Sadly, it
may not be a problem for much longer. He's been back to the vet this morning
and his emphysema and bronchitis is not clearing up as well as she thought.
June 13th may be his last appointment....:(((

Flyiñg Ñuñ 2°°6 +...
That sound sad Splodge - don't give up hope - try and be positive. Kafer
may well pick up your vibes and who knows what that could do.

Jackie...
Oh! Splodge, I hope not, perhaps they can do something for him!!

Foxy at w*rk...
Oh dear I am sorry to her that Jan (((HUG)))

Splodge

Jackie...
Glad you found the answer to your problem Splodge, your cats must have
changed it because they fancied a `party`.

Splodge...
I could quite fancy one at the moment Jackie lol
Splodge

Flyiñg Ñuñ 2°°6 +...
Do you think Kafer and Sherry had altered the setting, 'cos they were going
to have a party next time you went out? :)

Splodge...
I think they must have done. I've now decided none of us will party:))
Splodge

neil...
We had a similar problem, local Tom would wander in, spray around the place,
then wander out. So I set the flap to "in only" and shut the doorof the
little
room the flap entered.
The next morning I had fun catching him - always thought the cartoons of a
cat
running round the walls were fiction !
When caught and embedded into a handy catbasket, I put the basket
grill-side-up
out in the rain (which had just started) so he got a bit wet. Just to make
sure
he was wet I sprinkled a watering can full over him.
A very bedraggled cat ran away very fast and didn't venture near our garden
again.
tee hee.
Neil
(cat lover really - well our moggies)

Flyiñg Ñuñ 2°°6 +...
Neil!!! You're evil!!! ;)

Splodge...

Flyiñg Ñuñ 2°°6 +...
'til they change the flap control again. LOL
Neil, I'd have loved to have seen that. You certainly gave him what he
deserved.
Perhaps I ought to hire you for the night:)))))
(watch out now for the rude comments!!!)

Flyiñg Ñuñ 2°°6 +...
Unlikely - I think she's having an early night. LOL

Judy...
Thanks goodness!! :c)
