It is looking like a particularly wet and windy spell is on the way to all.
The strongest winds will be up here later today and tomorrow, but will be
over the south of England by Friday with gales in many places - up to or in
excees of 60mph:-(

We've been warned by our local weather person that will be the case here

Weather watcher reckons our next bit of sun in Sheffield will be Thursday
25/05/06. And rain every day 'til then. :(

I'm hoping you're wrong... but you're not usually and it's already getting
pretty breezy, to say the least. The front lawn is covered in leaves and
little twigs! I hate wind at the best of times but especially at this time
of year, the new growth hasn't hardened off enough to stand up to it.

The BBC1 forecaster has just suggested garden furniture in your part of
England is likely to be arranged tonight:-(

Well our garden furniture is solid wood and pretty heavy, I think it would
take a hurricane to shift that but several small branches in front garden
and quite a bit of plant damage. Nothing structural though, so it will all
regrow in the end. Apparently there was quite a large tree blocking the
road into the village until about eight this morning.

Still pretty blustery now but not as bad and at the moment, the sun is
warm. Your forecast for the weekend is pretty dire so I've been out making
the most of it while it's nice :-)

When I was in the dentist's waiting room there was a news flash on the telly
that a plague of moths were seen over Sheffield. Now I know why ;-)

inside one of the headlights. Now how on earth do you get rid of that? :(

watch- chap. My finger joints arent supple enough to fiddle with tasks that
small, and OH has Carpal trouble...... Hope you solve your car headlights

I used to know that, but I've forgotted. If it's not bad leave your
headlights on to see if the heat dries the condensation but all I remember
about a permanent cure was something to do with seals. Try Google :-)
