MCC...
Have any of you good people bought glasses over the Internet or know anyone
who has, please?
I'd be happy to hear of your/their experience.

Rabbit...
No personal experience *yet* but when I get a round tuit ( and that should
have been months ago ) I'm definitely going to buy them online. I've only
read good about them, except for varifocals which I can understand 'cos you
need them properly measured, but my next driving and reading ones are a
different matter. Not a lot to lose at the price of them ;-)

TIA.

Mike Tullett...
Mike - I have bought online, as I only need simple magnifying reading
glasses. In addition to my prescription pair, I have three others of the
same strength, but at less than a tenth of the price. This is a good site
if only such glasses are needed.

jamps...
I was surprised when, after admiring his new glasses, he said he had brought
them over the internet with the subscription provided by the optician.
It was a bit fiddly as he had to take the measurements but he was delighted
with the result.
I think he paid something like £38 instead of the usual £200 from the
opticians.

Saxman...
I have bought several pairs of glasses here, no problems.

I you order them soon enough, they are delivered next day.

They are helpful on the 'phone as well.

Splodge...
I remember reading about a very young chap who started selling specs online,
so I emailed him to see if he did varifocals. He said they would be starting
to sell them early this year, but I've lost the link to his website. If
anyone knows it, I'd be grateful to have it.

Baldrick...
I bought myself a pair of reading glasses from Glasses 4 Eyes

Cost was £17.50. All I had to do was copy the opticians prescription
details onto the website, (very easy to understand). Glasses turned up 4
days later and they are perfect !

Can't fault them.

The price for varifocals was just over half the price as the high street
shops, but it included a visit from one of their technicians

Aries...
My son has and been very pleased with em too. Do you need a link ?

linkuk...
I almost did because i wasnt get much luck get nhs exemption from the big
players and just when i was on the verge of buying online i found a local
small family optician who actually volunteered i was exempt so went with
them.
I did buy clip on sun glasses though online.

home...
Never heard of that Mike but I suppose if you have your prescription could
be ok;-;-))))
