Morning all
We have blue skies and sunshine here at the moment
The only black cloud is that the man has just been to read the gas meter
and you know what that means!
Going to have a sort out upstairs today and clear a space so the man can
come and look to see about having blinds fitted on the windows

I hope your Blind Fitter calls o.k. from what I hear from a friend that can
cost you `an arm and a leg`!!!

I got two big windows done vertical blinds for £99 and am well satisfied

That sounds a good price Noreen, my SIL was talking about having blinds
fitted and they were talking about £300/400
though I don't know what type of blinds she wanted!

After overnight rain it didn't look promising today but the BYT and Walter
did arrive about an hour ago. It's not so warm or humid outside as it has
been recently but it is a very pleasant warm autumnal day.

printer. Hope the Not-Wellies are feeling better, and the Wellies are
enjoying the outdoors a bit. Lovely bright day here. Off to the
Natter-Club this afternoon- the first time for two years... looking forward
to seeing familiar faces- tho' some no longer around. Twill be good to be
*in circulation* again. Have also had friends to afternoon tea during
week--cleared up silly misunderstandings... things are happier all round

If its as much wind where Barb is it might only go up with no lateral
movement at all :(

I still have a kitchen with nothing in it apart from a newly tiled floor.
Plasterer arrives tomorrow to re-do the ceiling and then I can get

Good morning Boo, I will have another go now I have the information you have
given me.
It was a hectic day yesterday here. First the vacuum cleaner - a piece broke
off and we only bought it in August, rang their help line and they said take
it back to where you got it and they will give you a new one by quoting a
number he gave me. Ted started laying floor tiles in our tiny kitchen, so
half of kitchen things in the sitting room!! Called on friend and collected

printer, she has about two chairs you can sit on everything else is in
boxes,
she is going to move, has not got a date yet and has lots of queries being
sorted out regarding other property, all rather premature I am thinking, I
could not live like that!!
Collected new vacuum hope this one is stronger.

Hope so, nothing posh, just from Ikea and we are doing it ourselves. Still
to finally decide what units to get. I have no room for anything else atm,
so will go and get the units ( or at least some of them) at the weekend.
Like most things, its a bit inconvenient just now, but it will get sorted
soon enough.

Good morning Len, the sun has really made it now but some dark clouds
lurking.
We have lots of birds here and we have a regular robin, seen him all year,
he comes on the hedge whenever we go to get the car out.
