Morning all:)

We have had rain. Cathy said it was hissing down but I wasn't awake early
enough to hear that:) But it was still raining when I woke and now the BYT
is finding holes in the grey to cheer us up.

Sorry, Anita, but the air feels fresh and the sort you want to be out in,
like the seaside without the sea! It's lovely.

Hope all the poorlies are taking the right route towards mended and that you
all have a good day:)

For the first time in ages I managed to sleep last night with only one fan,
the ceiling one, on. This morning I have the BYT but also lots of GFTs.
There's a mini gale blowing ( plant pots were blown over during the night)
and that's keeping it comfortable outside, though indoors it's still a bit
sticky.

So I get a phone call telling me I should have been somewhere for lunch (
believe it or not I forgot it was Monday today :-) ) so grabbed a T shirt
and left here about 12.30. It was windy out there but pleasant enough. At
about 2.00 we spotted some wet stuff on friend's window by 2.30 it was
chucking it down and the mini gale was a maxi gale.My friend lives on the
shore front and watching people, from the window, trying to walk along the
prom they could hardly move at one point. We had just seen a little yacht
passing too and we wondered if that got to safety before it got so bad, the
sea was really rough, we could see it blowing over the sea wall in places. I
got soaked just running to my car and visibility on the road home was almost
zero. I should have waited another half hour 'cos it seems to have settled
down a bit again, still windy but the wet stuff has stopped and through all
that it was still warm enough for the air con to be on in the car. Weird,
like a tropical storm again.

Yes, we feel lucky, Anita, cos we'd got like you, an area between two
weather fronts over and over again. The wet stuff would go north, south,
east or west of us but never drop on us. We could see the black clouds it
was falling from onto places a few miles away but it never made our spot.
Now it has and the relief is tremendous.

With my eyes closed I do feel as though I'm sitting at the seaside:)

And I've at last switched my new fan off though the ceiling one's still on.

You do have it interesting up there, don't you?
We've settled into black clouds north and south of us with us sitting in the
middle under the BYT:)

The BYT actually made an appearance about 5.30 but not for long. Light
drizzle now and it looks like it is here for the night.

We could do with that.
Ray's just this minute gone out to walk Meg after her tea.
He's wearing a short-sleeved thin cotton summer shirt and he'll be plenty
warm enough.
And those black borders are still with us:)

Yes, I think so too - watched it for a while and saw it gradually
getting less hazy, when I first saw it could hardly see what was on the
front, let alone what was moving on the water.

Very dark here this morning looks more like winter. No rain yet but I think
it will soon.

Good morning Jackie! very grey and fairly cold, slept under my duvet last
night for a change.

Good morning Noreen, the dark clouds have gone over without any rain and we
are back to sunshine but there does seem to be a stiff breeze out there.
It was still too warm in bed last night Noreen but we did not need the fan.

Good Morning all, yes it is me at this time. I know I do not usually
come on my pc this early, but had a restless night so have decided doing
some 'w**k' on here might help.
Tiscali look as if they have decided to do some maintenance, so cannot
get to check emails ............ I suppose they have to do these things
sometime or other.

The weather - well after a cooler night it is once again warm and
humid, everybody you speak to are fed up with this muggy, close weather.
I wonder how long this is going to continue - can't be at all healthy.

Good morning Anita, sunshine here again now but there are some dark clouds
lurking.
I don't like this humid weather.
Glad you mentioned about Tiscali it has been throwing out error
messages for my e-mails.
Has Ron started using the laptop yet??

Good morning Jackie,
Can't see any dark clouds on the horizon - not yet - but there are a few
white ones hovering.
No, Ron has not started using the laptop yet - well cricket takes
precedence over everything else;)
He might decide to come on today - who knows, don't know if I can get
him to post in here, but you never know.
How ar you and Ted coping with this weather? Everybody I talk to round
here are complaining of aches and pains :(

I got it now, Froggie - I rebooted. Looks hazy on there but can see the
sun will soon be out too. But it has to be fresher than the weather we
have here :)

Yes, the sea front is always a little hazier than elsewhere and in fact
it is starting to cloud over a little here now but still nice.

are moving very fast which have not seen for a while , hope your Tiscali

Cooler here too. 19°C (66.2°F) but it is warming up. Lots of cloud
scooting across and a bit of a breeze. No sign of rain
though - - - - - - - yet.

Good Morning Mike and all, a big change today seems to be back to normal
temps
it rained last night heavy but this morning it is all dried up and some of
the plants weren't
touched .
