JerryAtrick...
Is this when a young man's fancy turns to what a woman has been thinking
about all winter then?

MCC...
I dunno! Why you asking me? I gave up all that sort of thing years ago
My cousin in Shetland sent me these photos this morning of a garden visitor
;-)
She lives very near a sea loch, which perhaps explains a lot.

Jackie...
Lovely pictures Mike- Brrrrrr!

Foxy at w**k...
Good heavens. I bet there arn't many otters in folkeses gardens lol

Thanks for that Mike

Rabbit...
Now that's an unusual garden visitor. Can we now presume it's a *little

JerryAtrick...
Yes I've had them in my garden too MCC. That's one thing about snow you see

MCC...
And the photos are where?

all sorts of animal tracks to make you aware of the wonder of nature. As you
know Otters have made a remarkable recovery and are to be seen regularly up
here now. Those photographs are superb probably some of the best I've seen.
"Well done your cousin", I presume they were taken at Brae? Eat your heart

MCC...
Mangaster Voe at Sullom actually - just north of Brae and Mavis Grind.

out Bill Oddie.

Smokey...
What a lovely sight it must have been :-))

otter* up there in Shetland ???:-)

Old Grizzly...
Grooooooooooooooooaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaannnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn :-)

BunnyHare...
Lovely pictures. I expect he just got curious and thought he'd leave a
few tracks in the snow

Flyiñg Ñuñ 2°°6 +...
He/she didn't appear to be 'ot enough to melt the snow though :)

Aries...
Lovely, and cute too :)

MCC...
You wouldn't say that if he'd just eaten your valuable koi carp :-)
But I'm on the side of the otter

Aries...
True, on both counts LOL

ned...
My favourite animal.
As a youngster I used to visit the Edinburgh Zoo and spend the whole
day by the otter pool whistling to the inmates.

Rabbit...
Oh the youngsters do things differently now at Edinburgh zoo

ned...
You just can not comprehend their mentality!

Rabbit...
There's a wicked bit of me wishes they had succeeded and been slow runners
:-)

'Read 'Tarka, the otter' until the pages fell out of the Penguin
paperback. :-))

Pingu...
I loved the photos too, and being a fan of the writings of Gavin Maxwell,
"ring of bright water" I am keen on Otters
