When I got up this morning, BYT was in the ascendancy with just a few wfts
around and it was warming up nicely with a slight breeze. So got on with
doing the washing. Went up the garden and put all the pretty coloured
plastic clothes pegs on the line in readiness. then 20 minutes looking at
Sky News and doing a crossword whilst the washing was rinsing. And then,
yes you've guessed it, this large endless black cloud arrived and it's
fair *issing down with stair-rods and not a bit of blue sky or even fwt in
sight. Weather watcher and the TV weather reckon we're may get a few light
showers. Looks like it's old wooden clothes horse and gas fire drying day.

A bit brighter to the east from here now, but still raining. :(
Of out shopping now, let's hope it brightens up a bit.

Just got back and yes BYT is now visiting and the wet stuff ain't coming
down any more. The shirts etc are dry enough for ironing :) but I've put
the heavier stuff like towels etc out on the washing line. Now I wonder how
long it will be before that rain starts again. :(
