I thought there was something missing this morning lol

Rather soggy, and still a bit dark

And here too. My ceiling leak isn't dripping today yet, so hopefully my
initial diagnosis of a leaking wall flashing may be correct. TYhat should
be relatively easier for my roofer to fix.

The BYT has been here all day, ironically though the air was cooler ( than
the previous wet stormy days) in the shade and since the BYT was so low
there was a lot of shade. In the unshaded parts though it was like a
beautiful spring day, I wouldn't even have turned it down for a summer day
:-)
Good afternoon one and all.

Best wishes to the unwellies and all
Moff to try out my new bus pass this morning. My little mo-mo won't like
being left here all alone.

I've tried mine a couple of times now. Not only does it w*rk well on buses,
but also on our Supertram:
I travelled all the way from Malin Bridge to Crystal Peaks (Shopping centre)

stopped stocking menswear about 12 months ago. The journey was about 45
minutes ech way.

The trams have undergone several updates since then. I remember that when
they first opened they had free travel for 3 days. I tried it out then, but
couldn't, for the life of me, see how the council could make it pay. And
they couldn't. Since it was taken over by Stagecoach the system has been
better integrated with the bus system, and at last it's keeping it's head
above water. When they were laying out the system, I was w*orking in
Derbyshire. The trips through the city in the early morning weren't too
bad, but in the evenings it was quicker getting home to do a 28 mile
journey round the south west of Sheffield, through Derbyshire to get home
and that included a stop at a country pub for a pint of Blackthorn. Much
of the track shares main roads with the buses and cars, so you can imagine
the upheaval in closing of those roads for any length of time. Even
yesterday, now that there are millions of poundsworth of new development
taking place - roads and real estate, there was gridlock produced all over
the city by just one vehicle breaking down. .

The wevver is 'orrible here, grey & soggy again.

So much for The Suvern Riviera us folk Oop Norf keep hearing about :-)

At least we shouldn't suffer any water shortage this summer.

Get well soon all you poorlies. Keep going the right way cos every little
