Pam the goose...
Waiting for my go-to-bed painkiller I crawled up the stairs to speak to
Ray - yelling him from downstairs was no good cos I could hear he was on the

BunnyHare...
Oooh that Ray, talking to strange women.
Great for you to have a chat and of course you will get to go on a ferry

phone.

So when I eventually arrived I mouthed at him was it John, a person who
usually rings at this time of night. He replied it wasn't, it was a strange
woman!

"Here," he said, handing me the phone, "Say hello to the strange woman!" So
I dutifully took the phone and said into it, "Hello, strange woman." hoping

pmj...

that whoever it was had the same sense of humour as us! And by golly she
had. I actually recognised the voice. That Rabbit doesn't squeak like most
of the rabbits you meet, she actually talks English, well a sort of Scottish
English, but you know what I mean.

pmj...

So now I'm going to bed thinking about the lovely times in Ayrshire and the
gorgeous views. I'll sleep well!

Rabbit...
Now that I like, the fact that your memories of this area are good memories.

Pam the goose...
Oh, yes, they're *very* good memories:)
Lovely places to make my rememberer start doing what it should.

Oh, and I *am* going on a ferry come Springtime:))

Rabbit...
Yes you are, maybe even two, or even three if I have my way. You've a lot to
see yet and new memories to find in this area:-)

Pam the goose...
I'll ride a ferry and see how I am before the second and third trip.
But I do believe I'll enjoy the trips:)

(Was lovely talking to you Rabbit:)) )

Rabbit...
And to you. At least you discovered the *strange woman* your other half was
talking to was actually sane, sober , sensible and sedate ;-)

Pam the goose...
Well, I've never thought of myself as that but perhaps he likes sane, sober
, sensible and sedate females:) Could be that. I suppose:))

I was well and truly away in sleep when this thread was joined by men who
don't know when they're sticking their feet in it! And sleeping for over 12
hours does seem to underline that those memories were best to go to bed on,
doesn't it?

Got the use of my feet back overnight so I'm practicing walking with my feet
doing the right thing. Ray spent ages teaching my left foot how to bend cos
it couldn't but he's managed it and I'll have to keep practicing till it
happens normally. Oh, I do lead an interesting life since that bleeding

Rabbit...
Yeah it must be interesting waking up each day to something new and good
happening to you.

Pam the goose...
It is! My first question to him this morning was, "Am I different?" as I
stripped to let him check which bones had moved where overnight:)

I never though retirement would be like this!!

brain!!

Flyiñg Ñuñ 2°°6 +...
Well that'll be a first. :)

Rabbit...
No, I've spoken on the phone to Gander before ;-)

andon...
I think the reference was to the line:

Rabbit...
Nah, nobody would challenge that line ;-)

Flyiñg Ñuñ 2°°6 +...
Oh yeah? LOL

andon...

Flyiñg Ñuñ 2°°6 +...
A very apt subject heading I reckon Pam. LOL

pmj...
Yep!

It could have been an even stranger woman!
:-)

It might have been Boo!
:-)

Flyiñg Ñuñ 2°°6 +...
Ooooops!!!! I'm sayin' nowt. :)

Tyke...
I think you *both* should be careful lads.

Rabbit...
Awa an' bile yer heid :-)

Flyiñg Ñuñ 2°°6 +...
Pam is very astute. Giving credit where credit is due. :)

Pam the goose...
Eh, FN, don't call me names, I'm not a real stute at all!

Rabbit...
You tell 'im girl. You're not at all *stute* and you've told us you are even
slimmer now ;-)

Flyiñg Ñuñ 2°°6 +...
I didn't realise you were dyslexic either. LOL
