It's a grey day here today, very still with hardly a bird singing or even
road rumble to be heard. It's a bit dampish but it's not wet, it's a bit

Funny you should mention bird song Sandra. For the first time in ages
our birdies were in full song at 7.45 this morning. I took 5 mins with
my cuppa just to listen to them :-)

Finished one set of maps last night so am awaiting details
of the next club's rally stages so I can start on them.
Woke at 5 this morning ready for the day. Now why's my other

The heating hasn't gone on here yet but it's not cold and
there is a red glow to the sky which could be ominous.
Still, we'll wait and see what the day brings. At least it's
dry at the moment.

Hi Mike, hello everybody,
A nice sunny day here, a few little white clouds moving slowly across the
sky. Still chilly out but no frost again last night - and none of the rain
they promised us yesterday.
Still trying to sort out about a new pc - dearer to have one made up to
specification, than buy one in the shops - the prices appear to be hurtling
downwards now.
Makes it harder to decide what to do. But gives me something to think about
too:)
Paperw*rk to sort out today - then daughter and crew are coming tonight.
Grandson has purchased a new laptop 15" Imac G4 so am looking forward to
having a good look at it when they come.
