receive e-mails on my Pc and laptop, I have forgotted where to change
this.
I have e-mails coming in on my laptop but they do not come in on my PC
where I really want them.

On your laptop you need to set OE to leave a copy on the server. PC
is then set to delete.
Tools, Accounts, Mail tab.
Select the account and click Properties.
Advanced tab
Set your options.

Actually you need to make sure that *both* (any & all) PCs - Machines/
Laptops/Desktops etc,) have the Option (in all the Mail Clients that
they use) Set to "Leave Messages on Server", [*1] otherwise if just
one of them Connects to the Server & fetches them, if it's Set to
Delete from (i.e. not leave a Copy on) the Server, then none of the
other Machines will be able to get the Messages.
[*1]
But make sure to either Set them to Delete after a certain Number
of Days, or to *Manually* Delete them, using something like MailWasher,
or a Web based Mail Client thingy, such as...
Or the ISP's WebMail thingy, otherwise the Mailbox (on the Server)
will fill up & Exceed its Quota & Incoming Mail will be Rejected.

Thank you.

Now that you have the answer to your Query (from the other Replies
in the Thread), can I make a couple of suggestions/comments?...
When you have a Query like that It's always a very good idea to put
something in the "Subject: " Header which says what the Query is
about!!!

Snipped but contents noted - thank you pmj.

A "Subject: Header of just "How do I", with nothing else at all to
give a clue about what the Query is about means that people have to
Download all the Message(s) just to see if there's anything in them
that they can Help with.
Not everybody can (or does) Download all of every Message!
So a lot of things may well get skipped over, which *could* have been
helped with.
& also *other* people, who may have similar probs or Queries won't
get to Read the often very useful/interesting discussions that can
follow from a lot of the probs that people ask about.
& this bit relates *directly* to the actual Query that you asked in
the Body Text of the Message)...
With so many more people these days having more than one PC (Desktops,
Laptops etc,) &/or going out & about, it's becoming much more necessary
to be able to access the Messages from various PCs & that is (one of the
many things) what the IMAP4 (Internet Message Access Protocol) was
designed for!!!
Many eMail Accounts, not just 3rd Party ones, but also some ISP ones,
now offer IMAP Access.
It was designed (from the outset) so that the Messages are stored
directly on the Server (in various Folders) & can thus be accessed
from any Machines, anywhere, with no problems of them being unknowingly
Deleted by one Machine, before the others have got them
Have a look & see if the Mail Account(s) that you use offer IMAP Access?
OutLook Express (& many other Mail Clients) can be Set to use IMAP to
fetch the Messages from a Mail Server Account/Mailbox very easily.
