Did you find the rouge extension?

Having loaded the extensions that I listed, it was stable for sometime, but
crashed again after a re-boot. I am starting from scratch again and
loading only one or two at a time until proved very stable.

Trouble with Firefox is that there might be some remnants of a file left in
ones profile?

It might need a complete re-install eventually starting from scratch. ATM
it is very stable with only a few extensions installed.

Using the extension Firefox Backup Extension Backup is very handy for
re-installing extensions. I just go to the backup folder and re-install
them from there rather than hunt them down.

Meanwhile, I have K-Meleon installed as an alternative browser.

There is a new PDF file available about Firefox here. Looks like there
will be a ver. 2 around sometime in the future?

Yes I've got Bon Echo Alpha 1 running on a second machine at the moment,
some nice additions, uses less memory and so far no memory leaks, but at
the moment not really usable had two major crashes lost everything but
thats what you expect with an Alpha.

Let us know what the culprit (ext) turns out to be.

The new Spybot update found 8 pieces of spyware on my machine and I use:-
