Hi all :-)

Hi there
Hope you manage to get something sorted with Mum before you have to
leave. Its hard to make these decisions, I know. Mum still hankers
after being back in her old house even though, deep down, she knows she
wouldn't have been able to cope.
Mrs Tyke and Little Tyke will be looking forward to seeing you again
(you have got the pressies, haven't you?)
Safe journey back

Hope all are well and happy.
I had a look in and noticed I'm missed :-)

Things have been VERY busy here in Leeds with my Mum.
We finally managed to get her back home yesterday after she was given
the all clear.
She seems much improved but is prone to chest infections which can be
disasterous for her health in such a frail state.
There are nurses and care people in and out constantly.
We are not allowed to help Mum as the care team are assessing her and
seeing what she can do for hersel (very frustrating for me!)
In the back of all our minds is that Mum will not be able to cope and
will need a lot of help, perhaps even to go into care.
We are respecting her wishes though.
I've caught up with all my family now, lovely to see them all.
I'm returning back to Oz on Sunday and I really don't think I'll catch
up for a meet with Foxy and Bram - sooo sorry :-(
There will be other times I'm sure :-)
Missing Mrs and Little Tyke like mad.
I'm glad I came back and I'm sure in some small way I have helped Mum.

I'm sure just seeing you would have helped a lot. It's good she has carers
now who will monitor her well-being and while it will be a wrench for you to
leave her you can do it knowing you have done what you could. Safe journey
home to your other women.

A bittersweet visit - life just seems a little different now.

You will be pleased to get home back with your two ladies. Your mum must
have been over the moon to see you especially after you had to travel such
a long distance, and you will be glad you made the journey to see her
settled.
Safe journey back to Oz Russell, glad you found time to pop in and update
us - take care :)

Big wishes to Bazza.
PS I won't miss this cold weather.
Thanks to all who asked after me.

What a nice note, Russ!
Your mother is lucky to have a son like you.
I'm sure you did her a world of good just being there.

So sorry we won't get a meet Russ. I was panniking as I had the
opertunity to go to a Beer Festival on Thursday Evening and a day out on
Friday. So I will book now as you won't be ringing to meet.
As you say, your visit has ben a fraught one. But at least you know you
have done what you can, and I am *sure* your Mum benefitted from your
visit.
If you don't get over again in the next 12 months or so, get some room
made in that there shed of your :-) Cos if I have anything to do with
anything I think the Tykes might just get a visit from me and Westie ;-)
Gods speed on your journey home Russ, and be gentle with Mrs Tyke

So glad your mum is now home. Familiar surroundings make a world of
difference to recovery. I sincerely hope that with help, she will be able to
cope in her own home.
Shame you can't make a meet...........I was planning a 24 hoiur dash to
Leeds, courtesy of Brams living room floor lol.
Take care, and travel home safe Rus. :)
