Please can someone tell me!

I am finding that the words I am typing are not coming onto the screen as
quickly as I am typing them. Has anyone any idea why? Usually the

letters appear as I hit the keys but tonight there is sometimes a delay of

It could be that you have another program using a lot of processing
power such as an anti virus scan which is slowing your system down.

Try control panel - keyboard - you will find some speed settings there.

then again it could just be that you have so much software running
that there are not enough resources left. Does it improve if you
re-boot?

are low - close something and it picks up again.
