Well we have had a nice four days.

At least if the builders are back they are a day nearer to being
finished. Mum has the builders back this morning too and her bathroom
should be finished to day, hopefully.
It is great to have a little time and silence to yourself isn't it. I
usually manage that on Sunday morning before anyone else is out of their
bed

Mrs P went with the oldest daughter to Darlington yesterday arternoon. I had
finnished in the garden for the day and sat in the house with a pot of tea,
no noise , no wireless, just lovely quite. I had forgoten just how quite
quite is. We should all have a quite time every day if possible. Just you
and yourself all alone, just to remind you who you are.

I have a lot of 'stuff' in real life at the moment, that sometimes gets me
down and reading something like that above, makes me realise just how lucky
I actually am. I was going to reply to some other posts (I have just read
through quite a few) but instead I'm going to put the kettle on... and go
appreciate a few minutes of peace.

Lovely post Bill, and yes its nice to have a bit of time to yourself, just

Every day the builders are with you Bill the sooner they will be finished.
I always feel 'edgy' when the house is filled with silence. I always have
some (classical) music on the radio with the volume turned down. I'm going
away for a few days at the end of next week (grandaughters wedding) and one
of the first things to go in my suitcase will be a small radio.

That often tempts me if I go to ALDI. Nothing to do with ALDI but it's
situated right on the shore front so it's tempting to drive out their car
park and turn the other way to just look at the sea and the sky. That
