MCC...
We postponed going into Falmouth yesterday because of poor weather, hoping
to go today. The weather this morning is better but not really the sort of
day to be sitting on Pendennis Point with my bacon sarnie - grey, very poor
visibility and blowing a hooligale.
So she says, "There's not much point in wandering the streets of Falmouth
today in this weather." Being a good husband I agreed, and told her that
the forecast for tomorrow is much better and that we could go then. She
accepted that, and then in virtually the same breath said, "I think I'll go
to Truro on the bus. You don't want to come, do you?"

MCC...
Everything of which I have two are crossed

She was right, I don't want to go to Truro but I fail to understand the
difference between traipsing around the streets of Truro in this weather
and traipsing around Falmouth
Still, the house will be nice and quiet until 2 p.m. when she'll be home
:-)
Now what am I going to do for the next four hours...?

Aries...
I think she is probably right Mike cos I think the weather in Falmouth
being right on the sea will be much windier than the weather Truro.

Well us ladies have to stick together don't we ;)

Foxy at w*rk...
My thoughts exactly Val lol

Splodge...

And type? ;)

Foxy at w*rk...
Oooooo painfull
Take it from one who knows (!) the wind can blow across that new 'piazza'
in Truro with a vengeance. And there's just nowhere to take shelter.

Aries...
Ah well at least you will have a peaceful time whilst she's gone ;) I'm
looking forward to driving down to Truro myself soon - well after we've
moved - as I love that city. Is the undercover market still there ?

MCC...
Yes, the indoor market is still there. In fact there's now two! But the
second one is very "yuppified" with prices to match.
No parking anywhere near either of them, not even for disabled folk :-(

Aries...
Pleased about the market but not about the lack of packing grrrrh!

Aries...
erm ... that should be parking of course - but maybe a Freudian slip ? ;)

MCC...
And all she came home with was six teaspoons and a tin of air freshener
