Chance update

Well he had a good nights sleep as well as dozing all of yesterday
evening and Gilly finally started to leave him alone (I think he was
just concerned) this morning he seems as bright as a new pin and is
steady on his feet again now the aesthetic has fully worn off.

Libby knows what it's like, she's just had an eye op... £700!!

Thank goodness she's insured! :-(

and, even after major surgery, pick up very quickly.

Boiled sweets!! The little bounder found a half eaten hide bone
sometime last night and was chomping on that till we removed it. where
he had been hiding that is a mystery. :-)

Glad it all turned out OK. Have to got medical insurance for him? Not
that it would help much with a £140 bill. Gizmo's ear op cost £394 and I
got £171 back from Petplan, so that was worth it.

I have looked at Petplan in the past and decided it really wasn't worth
it and Chance is too old to qualify anyway.

Gizmo's 14 now, but we started his Petplan some 8 years ago, so they carry
on after 10, although the excess you have to pay on any treatment increases
ech year. atm you pay the first £75 and then 20% of the remainder.

So pleased Chance is fit and well after his op. You will have a job to
catch-up with him when you take him walkies!!
