Ascii Art...
Welcome to Bri.
BTW Bri, my shpiel chuckler sorted out the spelling. :-)

May...
---------------------------------------------------
Thanks to nice Mr. Ascii Art, ---
Hello, and happy to meet you, Bri... I lived in Spondon, Derby
with our family for eleven years. I remember the RR being along Raynesway
all those years ago. Anyway, good to put a face (nice one) to the name.

Bri....
Hello Marg, thank you for the welcome, I like the name, it also belongs
to someone very close to me ;-)

RR at Raynesway is the place that builds and services the reactors for
submarines. They seem to be an almost a separate entity to
aero-engines.

Wrinklie One =?iso-8859-1?Q?=A9?=...
And a warm welcome from me too..
Bri, would that be Nightingale Road or Sinn finn ???

Bri....
Hi WO, thank you.
To answer your Q - Sinfin, or to be more precise, PCF on Wilmore Road,
where they make the blades.

-
Bri.

Wrinklie One =?iso-8859-1?Q?=A9?=...
Lots of laughs Bri. who'd have thought that I'd visited Sinfin more
times than I care to remember.. Don't think PCF was on my agenda.
My early engineering days were spent at RR Barnoldswick

Bri....
Funnily enough, I don't think that the PCF is on most visitors agenda,
LOL. Fifteen years ago I attended a course at Bristol, but apart from
that I've no experience of RR life beyond Derby. I've been around most
of the Derby sites, with the exception of Rayneway that Marg (May)
mentioned, but my w*rk was mainly confined to the PCF.

JoeH...
Welcome again Bri - have you checked out the "meets" link on the UPS site?

You can put some faces to names on that page.

Bri....
Thanks again Joe, I've had a quick at the link and marked it for a
return, later.

Bram...
..and don't forget there is going to be one in Leeds in December.
Could well end up being a three day event like last year.
Don't misss out
:-)

Bram...
The American Embassy..? But there isn't one in Leeds...!!

Foxy at w*rk...
Oh bu**er where did that *s* go

Foxy at w*rk...
You bet me to it Bram :-) I was going to suggest the ame

Bri....
Thanks AA.

Ascii Art...
My pleasure.

That didn't take long, what a surprise to log onto this morning. ;-)

Ascii Art...
I try to do updates ASAP unless it is the weekend when we are rarely
on line.

Foxy at w*rk...
Nice to see a face and get some info, Welcome again Bri :-)

Bri....
Thank you, Jen ;-)

Bri....
It's beginning to look as though I'm avoiding this issue :o)
I'm very pleased, and grateful as a newcomer, to be invited to the Leeds
meet. We've given it a lot of thought since it was first mentioned and
the situation is changing all the time, but I don't think it's practical
ATM.

Bram...
Same place as Herbert Ingram's head....?

Aries...
That's a lovely bio Bri and with a nice face to put to the name too - glad
to have you join us 'officially' Bri ((hugs))

Bri....

Foxy at w*rk...
Perhaps next time Bri :-)
Thanks again, Val.
It was jackie that put me up to it!

Aries...
lol lol

jackie...
Ditto to that Bri!

Bri....
Thanks Jackie,
Yourself & AA did a good job and fast job on me there, I didn't expect a
surprise like that, this morning. ;-)

jackie...
We are fast wo**kers in here Bri - the stars there are because we do not use
the full word in here - as most of us are retired it is considered a swear
word - just to warn you
also Ch****mas - because it comes too early and means spending money!!

Rabbit...
And the C word upsets Troy's Human and we wouldn't do that :-)

Troy's Human...
Hah :-(

Bram...
Like to see you are settling in well Bri.

Bri....
Thanks again, Bram.
It doesn't seem like a week since the party ;-)
