Evidently we are due for a warm sticky night, torrential rain and hail,
plunder and frightening with chances of flash flooding. That'll knock the
plants down. Good morning all :)

We were getting that at the time you wrote! Funder and frightening -
pouring rain - electricity knocked out. Finished about 15 minutes ago
and sun is now shining

You should have come to Scotland with us, you'd have missed it!
It did rain overnight about three nights but not while we were sightseeing
during the day.
Great place that west coast of Scotland:)

As we left the M6 and turned onto the M62 it started to spit. Now it's light
rain and a breeze. Not a nice welcome home when we've been all those miles
north and had good June weather!!

Well I've just put a cardi on, it's freezing cold here now :-(

I put a light woolly jumper on to travel home and roasted at times. Even now
I'm finding it too warm.

I've got the big ceiling fan spinning fast. You'd think by this time it
would have cooled down but no, it's still warm. At least your part of the
world is warming up again. Seems a shame it went cold and wet when I think
of the weather we had there.

We had an electric fire on for a short time this evening.
Windy and wet - and that's just the weather.
The people I feel sorry for are my sister and her friend Annette who are
sailing from Orkney to Shetland overnight. Could be a bit bumpy, but at
least the weather is from behind them, rather than bashing into it.

We've got a similar little dark red arrow blowing from the SW here too. And
yes it is raining. And guess who are sheltering from it together under the
hedge just like they were yesterday afternoon? Then it was the shade from
the sun they were after. :)

Good morning Eric, I saw that forecast too, doesn't sound very good!
Aw! I hope it doesn't knock the plants down after they have fought so hard
to even grow this year.
