VCD and DVD

Thank's to Bram I now have a DVD RW and a fire wire card in my pc

I am taking baby steps to try and understand how to capture video from
DVvideo camera and burn to DVD.

I want to burn a DVD from a short film I have put in my PC using W movie
maker.

Nero says it is not compatible when I try to do it, but it will burn it to
a RW CD (it doesn't work with a Recordable CD

Maybe I haven't captured it correctly

I have burnt it to a RW CD and when I play full screen it is very
shaky.Maybe that is the filming as it is a rodeo with fast moving horses.

Questions: what do I buy CD's or DVD's Recordable or RW
Is there a way to burn it to a DVD I had no idea that a CD would play a

I have searched the web for and found some instructions how to use Nero Smartstart and
just burnt a dvd of my film, tested it on a dvd player through the tv and on
my pc and everythings fine now :-)

What a lot I have learnt in two days ;-)

Thank you Jackie and Mike, it is interesting learning how to do something
new, I did spend all last night and most of this morning and part of the
afternoon trying to work out what to do though LOL
