Rabbit...
Anybody fancy a walk along the beach?
I apologise for the quality of the white and the yellow flowers. I've just
spend two days and umpteen programs but no way was I getting them compressed
*and* quality. Just take my word for it they were lovelier than they look

Jackie...
Some lovely photos there Sandra, nice and peaceful.

Tyke...
Thanks for sharing and taking the time to get them out here for us.

They are lovely.

Aries...

On yon bonnie banks ....

MCC...
Lovely photos and I'll bet it was a lovely walk.

Rabbit...
It was, specially since half of it was new to me :-)

The birds with the shelduck are black-headed gulls - actually their heads
are chocolate brown :-)
The black and white bird you thought was a sandpiper is actually an oyster
catcher - but they eat mussels more than oysters :-)

Rabbit...
Ta Mike. The friend who was with me knew the names but I forgotted what I
was told. I'll change the web pages now.

The white flower is sea campion and the yellow flower, a bit like a
buttercup is celandine.

Rabbit...
Thanks again, that I can pass on to the body who knew the bird names and
appear as clever :-)

Did I see Paddy's Milestone in one of your photos?

Rabbit...
Yes you did, in the second last one IIRC.

I especially liked the rockpools.

Faolan...
Some interesting shots, now try your hand at the B/W methods I showed you :)

Rabbit...
I have but I've not managed to get it as good as yours yet.

The 2 birds you can't remember, they look like black-headed gulls.

Pam the goose...
Great to see places I know!

Rabbit...
And we walked along a bit of that beach you haven't been on, come to think
of it I hadn't been along that bit either. We were playing tourists.
PS your favourite eating place there is still a building site :-(

Aren't you a clever girl? They're splendiferous, I don't care what you say!
Thanks for showing them. People will now be able to see one or two of the
things I like about Ayrshire:)

noreen...
Love them Sandra , how lovely to live so near to all that !! and I can
assure you they
look pretty good to me ;-)))))

Rabbit...
Yes, nothing as good as that :-)

Down your neck your neck o' the woods again this weekend for some more
'brave' people ;)

Rabbit...
I'll put the kettle on :-)
