We spent a pleasent yesterday evening in the company of Neil Innis at
The Musician, Leicester. Highly entertaining intelligent often surreal

BunnyHare...
Sounds like a great night out
Love the song too

Foxy at w*rk...

Excellent ray

humour and a superb muso. He accompanied himself on 3 guitars, banjo,
ukelele, gob iron and an electric piano. One at a time of course.
We were treated to some old favorites from the Bonzos and the Ruttles
plus some songs new to me, including one about Silversurfers, titled as
the subject.
The definition of that is a good old fashioned face to face chat.

Lyrics below.

There is a Bonzos tour in the planning stages apparently, plus the
possiblity of a Ruttles tour after that. Something to look out for.

Bram...
I have often thought in the back of my mind...

Cheeses and onions...

A pint for Neil from me from me please.

er.., that's when he takes the spinning hoover tube out of his mouth, and if
he still exists.

They call me a silver surfer
Because I'm old and gray
A kind of new age pensioner
Who can handle I.T. okay

I may be at home on the internet
Online and up to speed
But can these modem times really get
Get me all I need?

I need the real world
Show me the real world
Where scissors cut paper
And paper wraps stone
Give me face mail in the meat zone

Out on the superhighway
Where the jargonauts come and go
I can get all the information
I'll ever need to know

Just as easy as finding your Christmas tree lights
All tangled up in a ball
One dark bulb in the scheme of things
And you get no joy at all

I need the real world
Show me the real world
Beyond the reach of digital t.v.
Online shopping at dot com-ci, com-за

We are but flesh and bone
Give me face mail in the meat zone
Face mail in the meat zone...

Well I know what over the hill is
So before I click "undo"
I'm downloading Monet's "Lilies"
To send as an attachment to you

I need the real world
Show me the real world
Where scissors cut paper
And paper wraps stone
Just you and me, all on our own
With a really good bottle of Cote du Rhone

Give me face mail in the meat zone
Face mail in the meat zone
Face mail in the meat zone.
