Clarification needed

I know that advertising is not allowed, but how do I make an offer for all
members of this group to: visit my website - choose a Tarpaulin and receive
it at a discounted price along with free fixing rope ?
This is a genuine offer to group members only - but how is the best way to
go about it without it appearing to be an "advert" -
perhaps it might be better for anyone interested to contact me direct ?
Any advice ?

How about having a sig with a link to your web site, that seems to be
accepted here.

Yup, a url in a sig seems OK. You must remember though that the group
doesn't actually have "members" as such. Anyone, anywhere can read the
stuff in here and follow links etc *even if they don't post*. There could
be tens/hundreds of "lurkers" who will try to take up your (very kind)
offer. You will have to be prepared to deal with that sitution.

Also, the post will be on web-search and other archives forever, or as near as
makes no difference, so put a time limit on the offer.
