Jeff...
Just come across a handy prog for creating tutorials.

Had a quick look at it and it appears reasonably straight forward with
a couple of good tutorials on the prog using itself.

Used it some time ago to show someone this...

Guess nobody was interested ... Ah well !!!

Installed it, tried it, thought it will be useful sometime. Then
couldn't find the shortcut to it.

Search for folder "debugmode"

John the R-T...
I clicked on the install file in my downloads partition, saw the
folder it would be installed in and now have a shortcut. Ta.

John the R-T...
Now have to think of a tut to use it with. FTPing might be an idea as
no-one else has volunteered. That will have to wait though as I'm
extremely busy ATM and for the next ten days or so.

Rabbit...
Planning a celebration maybe ? ;-)

Look in the samples folder... easy tut in there

Tickettyboo...
LOL and if GGJ catches you playing with the noisy thing in the corner
instead of concentrating on the 'portant' stuuf you will be in trouble :-)

Jackie...
I have downloaded it WO I think it may be useful

pmj...
But that "Wink" Utility is designed for *Creating* Tutorials!!!

The idea is that someone can use it for *Creating* a Tutorial
(or Demonstration/Example/Presentation type thing) & it Saves the
Resulting Tutorial as a .SWF (ShockWave Flash) File, so anybody can
see it, without needing to Download anything!
:-)

If you want to actually Create Tutorials using it, then yes,
you need to Download it & Install it & learn how to use it,
but if you want to Follow the Tutorials that are Created with it
(such as that one that WO did), then you don't need to Download
&/or Install it.

All you need to do is to just look at the WebPage(s) with the
Tutorial(s) on them & Click the Buttons on the Tutorials.

Tickettyboo...
Oh what is it this week? Silly season? I for one saw it, remembered it
from when you did it too.

OOOpps forgot the smilie :-)

Tickettyboo...
Do they do subtitles for the hard of uderstanding ?

noreen...
Like me ?;-))))

Tickettyboo...
and me and lots of others too I should think. Good heavens if I had had to
wade through all that gobbledegook about compression, then I would never

pmj...
You *don't* have to "wade all through that stuff about compression",
just to use the Wink thing!!!

Those Articles about Compression (of Pics etc,) are only for people
who specifically want to find out more about that sort of thing.
(just like all the stuff about the "Decompiling" of things).

The Wink thing is in a separate Section of that Website.
& is basically just a "Point & Click" thing.

have got a pic small enough to go on the web. LOL They would all be like
the first one I put on some webspace. Had to wait a fortnight to download
it and then scroll for a mile in either direction to see it.:-)
Okay I can see that the nitty gritty of the stuff would be of interest to
some, but its way beyond what I want to know and am capable of taking in
