Foxy at w*rk...
I am exhausted just reading that, quick send out the S+R team :-)

Rabbit...

Good luck with the return search today, hope it turns out OK and thanks
Gander for keeping us up to date, almost part of the team but without the
exhaustion :-)

Up at 0630, meet o/s Sainsbury's at 0730, left for Wigan at 0800. Went to
the RV given at 0900 to find they'd moved it to Car Park No.1 at the Robin
Park Stadium.

Met all the other people from the 2 MRT's involved plus the Police Search
Managers. Straight out with "we are looking for a body or body parts" as
he's been missing for 2 months.

Deployed to search a great big area with a railway line one side and a river
and canal the other. Got 2 of the areas done then ended up following a lad
who fitted the description for 2 miles whilst we kept control informed.

Panda turns up as we got outside a pub and checks the lad out, wasn't him
but thanks. Then called back in at 1700 for a debrief and stood down at
1800.

Arrangements made to return Wednesday evening,(today) to either continue the
areas we'd been given or have new ones allocated depending what new info the
Police had.

So off to Wigan again.

Sunday was at Delamere Forest, not as good as last year.
Very few people seemed interested in what we were doing but it was a
reasonably nice day. One call out whilst there for a lad who'd fallen off
his mountain bike, who when he found out S+R were on their way to help
hopped back on his bike and rode off.

After that I went and sat in the caravan only to be woken up 2 hours later
by people packing the stuff away outside ready for me to re-pack into the
caravan.

This weekend coming we have a training course for the new members, 2 days.

Helping with arrangements for a "BIG" exercise next month in Delamere and
have to go and see the Big Boss to arrange car park etc. About 25 vehicles
expected including MRT, Red Cross, St. Johns, Medical Aid Team, Forest
Rangers and so on.

Sainsbury's at Chester have decided we can hold a collection day on the 31st
March 2007 so have to write a confirmation letter plus send details of our
accounts, hopefully the bank account number etc.

Team Control caravan was serviced last week, it will last us for another 2
years, water pump has packed up and need to buy a new one. Caravan place
gave me 2 handles to fit to help move it round so have to drill a few holes
in it.

Must go as when I get up have to get all the radios out, check fully
charged, plus waterproofs, gaiters, fleece etc in case the weather changes
it's mind.

Have a great day and hope all the poorlies are getting better, and the non
poorlies don't change.
