Saxman...
A friend informed me about an email with a virus attachment doing the
rounds. Apparently it will wipe out everything including boot up files.

Frederick Williams...
Don't they always?

Frederick Williams...
Do tell us what a boot up file is.

Frederick Williams...
It doesn't.

There is no known antidote ATM.

All he could remember was that it had 'invitation' in the title.

=?iso-8859-1?Q?=A7ire=DFird?= & $ir Vivor...
It's a hoax and should be binned, unopened and unread, and not
forwarded

Saxman...
Thanks for that. I usually ignore these things, but coming from a friend
on a one to one basis, I thought I would pass it on.

There are mails in HTML doing the rounds with the Netsky.CG worm in
them, mostly claiming to be undeliverable mail. So long as you don't
have your preview pane open, don't read mails in HTML, don't click on
links or open the attachments, you should be OK. If you've any
doubts, check the mail by viewing the message properties/source via
your newsreader.
