I've used up all the good weather for all the visitors to the Norf this
year, there's none
left :-)

Nope it was used entertaining the foreigners from south of the border :-)
Ask David C, I delivered the BYT to him today when he was caught in a
downpour. OK the BYT was a bit tired and didn't stay long before the Funder
and Frightening arrived but I did take it and sowwy but that was the last
burst of BYT. Unless David nicked it from me like the Gooses have been known
to do, and brings it to Newcastle in his camera bag :-)

It was here till 20 minutes ago, but it's not cold ;-))

Even if I had done it would have been little help, as there was so much
uncertainty. A mix of heavy showers and some sun was on the cards and it
is always difficult to give a yes/no answer then.

The weather was exactly as you described it but of course it doesn't rain
