1 more than 4 weeks on really bad download speeds
2 on the hottest day of the year - earlier this week - my Xpelaire kitchen
extractor fan packed up - motor seized up - couldn't stand the heat
3 this afternoon fridge decided the heat was too much and packed up too

1 local electrical dealer got me new Xpelaire fitted yesterday afternoon
2 'phoned same dealer - he's bringing me a new fridge at 17-30 this
afternoon.

I'm sure I'll either win the lottery this weekend or have a fainting fit.

My pc really doesn't like the heat any more than I do. I've resorted to
running it with the side off, with a fan blowing into it, to keep the temp
down. I really 'should' get around to fitting a better cpu fan but its
another thing on the list.

I used to do that with my second (W98) pooter. As I don't use it that much
anymore, I don't have to bother. This new one seems fine with cpu running
at 59°C as it is now. Got up to 61°C earlier in the week but seemed quite
happy with that.

Mind you, *I'm * getting hotter without the fan on me and the heat being
blasted out is like having a hair drier played on my feet!

Hope you get your fridge and that is your 'run' of three bits of bad luck.

only 240 kbps atm. :( Must go the fridge has just arrived.

Fridge ain't sorted yet. He said he would be here about 17-30. Next thing
is to sort out the council to collect the old one. You can't just take then
to the dump anymore.
