Himself decided not to go on the walk with me but said he would plan a meal
for this evening. So guess what... We went to the pub for a carvery

I had a good walk, from Mitcheldean to Cinderford, through the Forest of
Dean, about 5 miles and it stayed fine the whole time

Laurie Lee country. While I'm familiar with his books, I don't know that
part of the country at all. I must rectify that soon.
