Hey Val!

I have found where that voicemail is on my machine, its in a folder
called C:\Documents and Settings\Len\Application
Data\Skype\old_grizzly\voicemail
Where old_grizzly is my Skype handle of course, now its a *.dat file but
unreadable of course but i wonder if you put it in your equivalant
folder you might see it and play it. What ya think?--

I've never yet managed to find out a way of accessing the *.dat
Skype Voicemail Files, using anything other than Skype itself - they
seem to be Encrypted - they aren't any normal kind of Sound/Audio
File.

I dunno if it's possible to get to listen to them using anything other
than the Skype Application (& the UserName that they were sent to)
& you have to be Logged into Skype (with that UserName) to be able
to hear them

If you *do* manage to suss out how to access them, I'd be interested
to know.

Hey pmj,
I can listen to it in my earphones so i *shou8ld* be able to use the
Sound Recorder to re record it, i tried this and changed to file as a
savie as changed format to MPEG3 and named the file mp3 but no joy but i
will keep trying

Dunnit! i re recorded it with Sound Recorder saved as a wav file and
bobs your uncle. Ok i only recorded 1 minute as i didnt play with
Recorder to insert more time.
