We went to a real,live Rodeo yesterday.
Our friends dragged us out and I'm glad they did.

The Rodeo was part of an organised national circuit with competitors coming
in from all over the country.

We loved it,lots of action and down -to -earth competition.

There has been talk in the papers of cruelty at such meetings.
I can honestly say that we saw none - nothing happened that would not happen
during the farming year.
The horses loved it and the Brahma bulls loved the attention also (yep some
cowboys rode these 500lb beasties)

Two riders were injured,one had to be stretchured off.
