linedancer...
I have got some glasses specially to wear looking at my pooter,no more
peering over and under my bifocals trying to read small print. What a
difference they make, I can sit back in my chair now to view the screen, no
more backache :-)

Foxy at w*rk...
lol Now why didn't you do that earlier ;-)

linedancer...
I know, daft aren't I ;-)

Foxy at w*rk...
lol No more than the rest of us Pat

home...
Morning Jen !! i have had pooter glasses for a long time !!even after having
the cataracts done,
I still need the pooter ones ;-)))))

Foxy at w*rk...
I think poota screens realy stress ones eyes Noreen

home...
I have asked two opticians if pooters can damage your eyes !!and they
told me that definitely no. Maybe you have it too bright ?;-))

Foxy at w*rk...
I don't think they damage your eyes Noreen just make them tired I will turn
the brightness down a bit

Rabbit...
Set your background colour to a very pale colour instead of white. Mine is a
sort of pale blue/grey and is less glaring than white.

Ta Sandra

pmj...
& I think Sandra means there not just the *Desktop* Background...
But the Background that is Set in the Display Properties for the
*Window*, so that things like OutLook Express show with a (very)
Pale Blue Background, rather than stark White.

RightClick Desktop>Properties>Appearance
[Advanced...]
Item: Window (or Click in the bit beside where it says
"Window Text" in the example)
Then Click on the Color thingy & pick "Other...", then choose
a Pale Color, from the Color Palette Picker thingy.
Then Click [OK] [OK] [OK]

Also, in Internet Explorer, try this..

Menu>Tools>Internet Options...>General
[Colors...]
[ ] Use windoze Colors (*UN*Tick that)

That gives (by Default) a Grey Background to any Web Pages that
don't specify the Background Color of the Page & you can change
the Color (maybe to a Pale Color?) If you want.

Flyiñg Ñuñ 2°°6 +...
I daren't comment. LOL

linedancer...
Don't even go there FN LOL

I am being serious now, I originally thought they would have to be from
my reading prescription or distance,
but apparently they take it between the two for computer glasses, but you
have to tell the optician when you take your eye test, I didn't know that

Rabbit...
The last twice I had an eye test I was asked if I used a pooter.

either, but it gets better :-)
I get my glasses from a firm who make them and they had a box with obsolete
frames for £10 so I got the whole thing for £35 which I thought was really
good value :-) (and they are very trendy).
