Apologies to all those who have had Birthdays and anniversaries please
accept belated good wishes.

To all those who have been poorly I hope you are now well recovered. If
your still poorly get well soon.

I finally got to see the dermatologist yesterday I have lichen
sclerosus, apparently it not uncommon in middle aged men and so long as
its treated there are no long term problems. Mine has developed quite a
bit its not in the early stages but the outcome should be fine. A strong
cream for 2 weeks followed by a different cream for another 2 weeks with
a 2 week course of antibiotics. Another alcohol free Christmas.

Good news, well certainly better than you first thought.

I'd phoned about my appointment a couple of times to check they hadn't
missed me. I was told the consultant had seen the report and put me down
for a routine appointment as opposed to an urgent one I suppose. I got a
phone call Friday morning " Can you make it this afternoon" I was in and
out in about 10 minutes great service.

Glad you are sorted and hope the ointment does the trick

Anita Carter...
Hello Paul,
Ron has Lichen Sclerosus for years now, he manages to keep it under control
with a cream that his skin accepts.
So it does not bother him much. But it took a while for them to find a
cream that did suit him, because for years they did not know what caused it
or what it was even.
Eventually a dermatologist recognized it (he was lucky this dermatologist
was standing in for the normal one he sees) and they started trreatment
straight away.
I am glad that they have discovered what yours is and hope that the
treatment works for you

Thanks Anita, apparently if they don't control it the effects can be
quite serious. Glad Ron got his sorted.

Anita Carter...
Yes it can be serious - when Ron was diagnosed he was asked if they could
take photos - to help them with their lectures on the subject.
He agreed because of it being of help to others - but was a little reluctant
at first.
But, at least he has the satisfaction of knowing that him agreeing would and
does help others.

I've tidied up my PSP site and added some new creations if you'd like a
