(today) - Would so much appreciate a bit more advice. Did my shopping for a
scanner over the phone, as cant manage to get to Northampton Curry's.

I will Reply to it, but I have been out at work overnight & have
to go out to work again tonight, so I won't be around very much.

Can you Post up with the actual (Full) Make & Model of Scanner
& Camera that you got? I know you said it (the Scanner) was a Canon
LiDe one, but what actual Model is it? (& the Camera)

I have had 2 Canon Scanners - an N670 & a D1250U2 (but the one I have
at the moment - the D1250U2 - isn't an LiDe one, though they all use
pretty much the same Drivers & come with pretty much the same Software).

& I saw that r@y mentioned about some Sites (such as Photopic
& WebShots), which you can use for Posting up Pics onto the Web,
for people to see - those sort of Sites can be useful - also, have
a look at PhotoBox & Flickr.com

But it's also very easy to bung stuff up onto ordinary WebSpace,
like Boo does with her Pics (& like Barb & Noreen & several others
in here do)

What ISP do you use?
Is it BT? (it seems to be, from the Headers of your Posts)
Most ISPs give you some WebSpace Free, Automatically - but I don't
think BT do, with all of their Accounts.

You can get some WebSpace (Free!) from firms such as Portland.co.uk
but the Free WebSpace providers don't give very much Space for Free.

You can get WebSpace (Hosting) from a whole range of other Firms
& it's actually very cheap these days, you can get it for as little
as 5 or 10 Quid per Year.
