... one of those that waggle as they blow, one that's stood for years on the
top of the unit beside where I sit at my puter, has begun to make weird
noises - so Ray says but I can't hear it! So I was taken into Widnes to buy
a new one.
I was offered two different ones and was so perplexed I asked Ray to choose
one and I'd go with what he decided.

Wow, a choice... round here they're like gold dust! Luckily we bought three
in the winter ;-)
|
So he chose the one that was like the one I have but stands on the floor and
the blades are about twice the size of my old one.

Ooh posh! Mine are table top ones but Mum has one of those you've
described, they're great. Mind it doesn't blow you over if you put it on
full blast ;-) They're also great for clearing up paperwork.. hehe... as
long as you don't mind it blowing right out the door!
|
He's put it together and it's absolutely brilliant. In fact it's so good
that it's relaxed me so much I'm falling asleep here!
What with the air conditioning in the car keeping me cool there and my new
giant fan keeping my cool here I'm having the life of Riley suddenly:))

Aw :o) Hey Pam... you know what I love? We all know your rememberer
sometimes chooses not to do its remembering but I just love the way that
certain things, like that phrase about Riley, don't get forgetten. Also how
you remember all the 'difficult' computery stuff that you do, even though
sometimes the simple things are a struggle to remember. Brains are strange
but wondrous things aren't they?

And WHO - might I ask is Riley ? AND what kind of life did he - or does he
lead ?
And whilst I'm at it .... how about Mrs Riley.... what sort of a life is she
leading ???
I bet she's stuck in the hot kitchen ....cooking dinner for Mr Riley... the
lazy good fer nothing ******* !!!!!
Pam the goose...
|
No, John, don't ask!
Well, you can ask the others but not me cos words come out of my mouth ...
er, fingers .... without any help in understanding these days:))

Hehe that made me giggle. Well *this* Missus ain't cooking... it's too
darned hot in the kitchen. Cold cuts and salad, with nice cold cooked new
potatoes, is the order of the day and my Mr Riley can like it or lump it
;-)
ps. I wondered too

ROFL
I ended up asking Ray what you call that thing that keeps the inside of the
car cool but the life of Riley was just written by me as though there'd
never been a bleeding brain:)))
Even *I* don't understand what goes wrong and why:)
Yes, when something upsets them brains show just how strange and wondrous
they can be!
|
Enjoy being cool ;-)

Oh, I am, believe me, really enjoying it:)
