Don't believe it, they are just covering for their Grand daughters who were
wearing the disguises in the first place. :)

Even Vicky Pollard ("Am I bovvered?") and Lauren Coper (""Shut up! I
ain't even dun nuffin or nuffin!") have to get old! ;-)

Michaelangelo...
Unfortunately, old age doesn't change a persons level of honesty.
Youngsters who commit crimes in their teens or early twenties may well
put all that behind them as they mature but anyone who remains
criminally minded into full adulthood will carry that to the grave.
Elderly people ar less likely to commit offences simply because they
are less able to do so - try climbing drainpipes when your in your 70's
and suffering from rheumatism! Even shoplifting or 'sneak thief'
activities become more difficult because it's not so easy to run away
from security guards/householders.

That said, some years ago (70's I think), here in Edinburgh, there was
the case of a man who was found guilty at the High Court of forging
coins in his house. The expert witness from the Royal Mint described
his work as the finest forged coins he had ever seen - virtually
perfect reproductions. He had been doing this for virtually all of his
adult life right up to the day he was arrested. It was estimated he had
put over £100,000 into circulation. He got ten years and the judge made
it clear it was only his age that saved him from a longer sentence. He
was 86!
