Gareth...
I've just spotted that the Strelitzia (Bird of Paradise) in my
conservatory is in bud for the *third* time this year. It's a big
plant in a huge pot and is about six feet tall. :-)

Aries...

I've put up a couple from 2004 and 2005 and then four taken just now.

The garden is far from 'pretty' at this time of the year. :-(

:-)

Wunnerful. I can almost see the nectar dripping off it. Had on in my
greenhouse until the heating failed one winter. Must get another
cutting from my neighbour.

Gareth...
Oh, the Hoya? The fragrance from it at night is quite overwhelming. It
permeates all through the house even with the door to the conservatory
closed. :-)

Gareth...
It's only a green bud at the moment. :-)

Frogman...
Then a *before* and *After* perhaps :-)

Gareth...
I've got some taken previous years on my external drive, I'll fish them
out. :-)

linedancer...
How long did it take to grow to six feet Gareth ?
Some friends are growing one from seed that they brought back from Tenerife
in July, it's about ten inches now I think, they have a nice sunny
conservatory so perhaps itwill grow quickly.

Gareth...
Oh, I bought this one as a plant years ago and have divided it up a
couple of times since then and given them to my parents and brother.
You can get different varieties though. Some are small growing whilst
others can be huge in height.

You can also get white flowered ones too.

Rabbit...
I've never seen white ones but now I think I prefer them.
