Anyone on Plusnet given it a go yet?

Tickettyboo...
Nope not me :-)

Rabbit...
Eh I'm waiting on somebody explaining if I need it when I've got both a
router and Kerio plus I see a few folk have had problems with it like not
being able to FTP. I think I'll wait. unless of course some of the techies
tell me other wise ;-)

To find it go to: Connection settings > Broadband Firewall. Seems simple
to set up and there's a fair bit of explanation.

Aries...
I didn't know there was one? Will go look at it now.

They introduced it within the last few days.

To check if you need it do an all ports' check at:

26 Ports Stealth

Click on Proceed, then on next page click on All Service Ports.

All mine come up green - stealth mode - but I have a firewall in my router
and run ZA on the pootas. So I wouldn't think tthe additional PN one would
do me any good.

Wasn't aware that this was available but I suspect it is very new.

I tried this from PlusNet's explanation pages:

Testing your firewall
We recommend that you use an online checker such as Shields UP if you
need to confirm that your firewall is working properly, and that the
appropriate ports are being blocked.

Note that Shields UP is an external website and PlusNet has no control
over its content.

My current system set up wasn't breached by the tests so I won't be
taking up the PlusNet Firewall.

Yep seems simple to turn on and off, not so convinced about how anyone
would monitor or troubleshoot it though.
If they want to do simple for people who don't want to get too involved,
they should have saved all the guff about port numbers and given a list of
apps that could be allowed/denied as the user wishes.
Oh! The windows firewall already does that :-)
