ADSL Guide speed test

Speed tested with Internet Explorer was:
3,222.2 Kbps Downstream
375.1 Kbps Upstream.

Tested in Mozilla Firefox immediately afterwards:
2,113.0 Kbps Downstream
363.9 Kbps Upstream

Just run a comparison

Using IE7 and Fx 2.0 RC3

IE7 - 6.3 Mbps Down ~ 0.7Mbps Up

Fx 2.0 - 6.4 Mbps Down ~ 0.7 Mbps up

So I wouldn't think there would be any particular speed benefit from
using either.

Downstream 2,528.6 Kbps ( = 2.5 Mbps ) Upstream 371.3 Kbps ( = 0.4 Mbps )
here using IE6. :(

Does this mean that I would get faster speeds using IE instead of Firefox?

I have tried this test a few times and IE has always been higher.

I've tried that a few times. Seems like I get fasyter download speeds from
some US servers than from the one in London. :(
