Tyke...
Dunno about "gone" - my view is that it's always been that way.

Flyiñg Ñuñ 2°°6 +...
Nah! Back in the early 1960's it seemed just about right. :)
I know! 'cos I was here. LOL

at all :)

Aries...
how did Barb manage that !! ;)

pmj...
With Skype you can Call ordinary Phones, can't you? (Both LandLine
& Mobile) - that's if you have the SkypeOut Service.

& you can also Call a Skype User (if they have the SkypeIn Service)
from an ordinary Phone (both LandLine & Mobile)

So it's a relatively simple matter to Set up a Multi-Party
(Conference) Call in Skype, that includes other Skype Users
& *also* people using an ordinary (LandLine or Mobile) Phone.

Aries...
That's right, but from what Noreen was saying I was imagining Barb on
Skype from her telephone, surely that cannot be done

BunnyHare...
They were on skype and called me from skype to the house phone. The "dog"
set up a conference and we could all talk to one another.
Ain't technology fun

noreen...
That was for a laugh !! no i dont think that can be done ;-))))

Aries...
I thought so lol

pmj...
Yes it can!...

Try ringing: +442071938204 (or 02071938204 - that's the same thing,
you can Ring it from any ordinary Phone, or from a Mobile, it ends up
at the same place) & see what you get.
:-)

You can also (with some Mobile Phones/PDAs & some Mobile Phone
Service Providers, if you have the right sort of Phone & Tariff,
that gives you an Internet Connection on it) actually Run a (cut
down, basic) Skype Client Application on it & Log into the Skype
Network directly from it & see the normal Skype Contacts List etc,
on it.

Anita...
Tell her I am pleased to read that, Noreen and hope her mother continues
to make good progress :)
