Toyboy...
Holiday over, quite dull affair, after driving through France up and over

BunnyHare...
Er you do jest
Good to see you back home

the Pyrenees into Andorra and down again into Spain, we continued down the

Tickettyboo...
oh lucky you! That is a smashing drive into Andorra! I love it when you
drive up through the cloud and are then above it.

middle of Spain until meeting the coast at Valencia, turning right and

continuing to Benijofar (a small village were my sister lives). First week

Parrotfish...

spent seeing friends and family (brother lives in Torrevieja) also brother
in-law was on holiday at the same time..

On the Friday evening (second week)I was driving to Torrevieja with 5 of us
in the car, when a German motorcyclist hit the rear of the car. Both car &
bike came off badly but all of us, including the motorcyclist, were ok.

Tickettyboo...
Scary stuff, main thing is the people were ok.

Isn't it great that even when stuff goes wrong, the insurance back up is
usually so good? Sounds like they looked after you and it all sorted
itself in the end.
You can submit a chapter or two to my forthcoming book 'Jolliday disasters
wot I have experienced' :-)

Parrotfish...
Oh, we have plenty of those ;o)
Do you think you can get your book made into a film ? I see my character
played by Scarlet Johanssen and obviously Toyboy by George Clooney ( the
likeness is uncanny, really)

Tickettyboo...
Do I get full rights with the casting couch?

Who would you like to play you and Mr Boo ?

Tickettyboo...
Dunno...someone we could easily win against I suppose :-)

After talking to the German (not English speaking) the Police (not English
speaking) the police (not understanding German) and the German and us not
understanding Spanish, I spoke to my insurance company. I was allowed to
drive my car back to my Sisters home.

Next day spoke to the very helpful people at the RAC who arranged a car hire
with Eurocar, including a taxi to their premises. I had the car (a Red
Renualt Meganne, picture to follow) until Wednesday when I dropped it off at
San Sebastiene train station where a taxi took us and all our luggage
(including 3 flower pots) to Biarritz Airport in France for our next hire
car, a dark blue Citroen from National Cars (PtF) which we dropped of at
Calais ferry port. We then changed to a Blue VW with UK registration(PtF),
which I drove to Bolougne for our ferry crossing .

Toyboy & Pf

biffo...
Well done "TB" quite a bit of inconvenience for you both, but glad it all
ended up well for you ;-))))

Old Grizzly...
quite something :) but it seems the hire car thing was faily well
organised. :-) What is to happen to your own car?

Parrotfish...
We've heard from the mechanic in Spain, the Claims chappie has said that
it can be repaired :o)
So now it's up to the insurance company to authorise the payment.
When Bev went to the garage, they were reckoning on 2000 Euros.

Anita...
Sounds like you had an adventure as well as a holiday - nice to see you
back again :)
