Yes, but you have the pc up and running, have posted into here so you must
have done lots already. You have plenty of time to sort the pc out to your
liking, I assume you are going to keep it for a good while yet :-)

Am pleased to have got so far but I am finding XP strange atm.

You might have done this already but just in case ..
Right click on Start, select properties from the menu and then check
"Classic Start menu". This will make things much more like 98. I can't use
XP until I've done this :-)

No. Once done it stays like that.
If I use someone elses PC, I've always got to change to Classic Start menu.
If I don't then I can't find anything :-)

I have only had xp on this pc for the last few weeks, I had ME on my
last pc - I have got used to and much prefer xp :)
