Does the length of your fingers tell us anything about internet use? (research project)

This might seem like a strange question but there is evidence that
finger length is related to prenatal hormone levels and that this in
turn influences brain development and function. In this study we are
trying to find out if finger length is in anyway related to personality
and the way we use the internet.

Why? I am genuinely interested, I know that sometimes even the strangest
sounding research can lead to good things, but have to admit I am a bit
baffled over this one :-)

Did you know that the difference in length between the tip of your thumb and
the tip of your index finger is the length of your nose ? Try it and see,
you don't even need a ruler :-)

Did you know that you could tell if a sock would
fit by measuring around your clenched fist? That
is how my mum used to do it.

Just clench your fist and wrap the foot of the
sock around it. The tip of the sock should just
reach the heal.

I'm a fund of useless information :-) Here's another one. Your foot length
is the same as the length from your wrist to the crook of your elbow.

Gawd 'elp us!!!

My 11 year old *dau* already takes an adult size *8* in shoes!!!!
That's a men's size 8, not a women's. She's already having trouble
managing her feet and she hasn't stopped growing yet!!!

You will need a ruler to measure the length of your index and ring
fingers, and a few minutes to complete the questionnaire.

And does he realise that the generation that use UPS were brought up on real
measurement so we very likely won't have the wherewithal to measure in those
metric things. All my rulers/tape measures are in good old feet and inches!

I agree. The money being wasted on this "research" would be better
spent on the NHS, education and the police.
