Sooper dooper Torchwood !!!!!

Anyone else watch it tonight? I spent most of the 100 minutes trying to
figure out why I kept trying to remember all those *B* movies I watched in

No, I watched Bon Voyage second part, I missed the first but got the gist of
it, it had me sitting on the edge of my seat with baited breath, excellent
acting on the part of the kidnapped girl, a good thriller for a change.

Yep I watched it and understood it but like you thought it was very B
movie-ish. I may or may not watch the next episode depending what else is
on the box at the same time.

I watched the final program in the "Who Do You Think You Are" series
featuring Julia Sawalha of Ab Fab fame. She is of French Huguenot (mother's
side) and Jordanian (father's side) descent.
It made a very interesting programme.

Did you notice the deliberate (?) mistake ?
She filled out the form to order a certificate, then a very kind chappie
at the FRC produced the certificate from a drawer.
I wonder how many customers will be demanding their certificates
immediately......
" 'cos her off the telly got hers"......... Lol
Apart from that, it was a good programme.
When she was standing on the veranda of her Grandparents house, it was
identical to the photo of Grandmother Julia.

I realise that a huge amount of research is done for the subjects of the
programmes and that real life just ain't like what it is on the telly!

The resemblance between Julia and her grandmother, also Julia, was uncanny.
I'll bet grandmother was a feisty dame :-)

That gets repeated, so I watched Torchwood, which *was* the repeat (from
BBC3).

We watched 'Bon Voyage' on ITV .... was the 2nd part of 2 this evening,
was OK, predictable, but quite watchable :-)

The journey may not have been particularly long; Daleks, Cybermen,
Gallifreians, Slitheen, all seem to be able to move around that universe
within reasonable time-scales.

I saw it on another BBC channel last week (episodes 1 & 2), looks like it
might be fun apart from the American midget!
