Morning all from a very hot Gloucester
Have to get back into living in a house!
Hope you are all well or at least improving.
Have 1885 posts to catch up and piles of washing so seems I will not be
idle today

We had a torrential downpour for about an hour just after I went to bed at
midnight - it really chucked it down. SWMBO will be happy because her
water-butts will be full to overflowing.

When I went to bed last night I'm sure I heard wet stuff, not the garden
hose on the skylight sound, more a whoosh. I did look out the windows but it
was a bit dark to see and it wasn't hitting the glass. Going by the ground
this morning though there was a lot of it even if it was fine stuff.
This morning is grey (again) with the BYT trying to win (again) but she's
looking good right now. I've only been as far as the wheelie bin yet and it
wasn't as warm out there as I thought it would be given the humidity in here
since I opened the windows. It's not cold but just not as warm as the
humidity ( which you can feel like a rain forest) would suggest it should
be.

Hope all poorlies are well on the road to full recovery.

Dunno what SWMBO has in store for me today but no doubt it will involve a
visit to a supermarket somewhere ;-)

Big loads of crossed fingers,MIL has not been too well recently.
She is due for a blood transfusion and a camera down the throat next week.
The week after Mrs Tyke is taking her to a posh hotel in blackpool for a
week's treat.

I hope she has a safe and easy journey. She'll really feel the heat and
humidity when she arrives. I know you're used to high temps but you don't
'suffer' this rotten humidity, do you?

Boy ,I will miss her.We have had a lot of time apart over this last 18
months.

I feel for you when Mrs Tyke comes over here you will miss her , as you say
there have been a lot of separations these past 18 months.
The trouble is as parents are getting older it is a part of life.
I do hope she has a good safe journey and won't be too long away ;-)))

Aw, I can imagine... hopefully the time will go quickly if you keep busy
and you know you're never short of someone to 'talk' to in Ups. And of
course, you have Little Tyke (have you not re-named her yet?!! lol, last
photo I saw, she was looking pretty growed up!)
