Well...
The Macromedia ShockWave flash File thingy on that Page was actually
only(?) about 270 KB...
(& another one of about 92 KB for the Background Music)...
Oh - & then another .SWF File of about 164 KB...
& another one of about 135 KB...
Followed by a whole load more (similarly numbered) .SWF Files of about
100 - 150 KB each!
So yes, it does rather look like that Site was prolly designed without
much thought for people on low-speed (Dial up) Connections?
Each 100 KB will normally take about 20 or 30 Seconds to a Minute to
Download at typical Dial Up Connection Speeds.

I think it was prolly written as a sort of "Showcase/Demo type of thing,
to use the features, facilities & capabilities of ShockWave Flash
MultiMedia & Animations to make a sort of Semi-Interactive "StoryBook"
type thing?
