Aries...
We are supposed to be having our flu jabs next week but I've heard of so
many people going down with the flu or a bad cold afterwards I'm hesitant
to have one this year, although had no problems in previous years. What

JerryAtrick...
Been having for years now and the first two years it seemed a waste of time,
but since, no flu, not even a cold.
My opinion go for it, don't hesitate!

Aries...
Sounds good to me, ta Jerry :)

do you all think ?

Old Grizzly...
well i could blame my flu jab for my recent cold/flu thing as i cant
think of any other contact that might have doen it :( but its not been
nice thats for sure

Aries...
That's 4 - 1 against so far then :(

Gareth...
A flu jab gives you a very mild dose of the bug and some people get
slight symptoms. Other people may get a heavy cold, still go out
shopping etc and say they have the flu. If they had the flu they'd be
tucked up in bed.
I'd say go for the jab as the flu can be nasty if you do get it. My
parents had theirs last week and both seem ok.

MCC...
Had ours last Saturday. Neither of us have had any adverse reaction.
Go for it :-)

Old Grizzly...
did you mean go for it Mike or did you mean wait for it LOL

Aries...
Thanks Mike that's good to hear

jackie...
We both had ours about 3 weeks ago - no problems at all, no sign of a cold!
The pneumonia one is not an annual one I think about every 5 years, not
sure, but we both had that last year and no ill effects.

Aries...
Thanks Jackie, and everyone who replied :)

Wrinklie One =?iso-8859-1?Q?=A9?=...
First couple of years I ended up with a heavy cold but whether due to
the jab or not, who knows. Had ours last week and haven't had any
problems for years

Aries...
That's reassuring to hear, thanks :)
