Just had a phone call - delivery Fri. 31st - you were right! :-))
Steve...
|
I sometimes resorted to bribery to get some of my customers to take
shipments from our factories prior to the 1st of April to meet our
European targets. I would also delay shipments from the factory if we

How exciting :D
donut...
|
Not as exciting as a Tessa Val. I would love a dog (Border terrier for
choice) but Maurice isn't keen.............so!! I know we should not be
able to take it for walks and it would not be fair to the dog.

Dogs are a committment and responsibility, but they give so much back in
love and companionship. Tessa has already enriched our lives and will keep
Bobbie (Troy's little Sister)...
|
Dogs rule humans .... OK ??
*And* I sleep in the same bed as my humans ... OK ??
I well remember the night when there were 6 of us all in the same bed :-)
Me, Troy, Ricky, Gizmo and the 2 humans - all snuggled up together :-))
Aries...
|
Don't your animals make your bed smelly tho? You must bath them often to
allow them to do that!
Troy's Human...
|
At the moment Bobbie gets a bath almost every day - the fields are a bit
muddy on our walks - it's been quite wet lately, unlike the SE. Ben still
hasn't figured out how to get upstairs so he's never been on the bed. Both
cats are clean animals :-)
Also my wife's main hobby is using the washing machine :-) (I'm not joking)
Aries...
|
I had Tessa in the bedroom last night but she made the air smell hot and
smelly so I turfed her out. Not sure how she will take to being bathed.
Troy's Human...
|
Shame. It's lovely cuddling up to a doggy :-)
Jeff Gaines...
|
You have to be careful though, the fact that my Jack was allowed to
sleep in the bed was cited in my divorce petition!
Troy's Human...
|
No danger of that here - my wife is a doggy person. The dogs are *much*
more important than me in this house :-)
|
Del gets on the bed 2 or 3 times a year when he's really frightened. On
fireworks night he got under my pillow (while my head was on it) as it
was the only place he felt safe.

|
I am not surprised about firework night, dread it every year with the
Chihuahua, my Daughters
she has to be on tranquillisers.
Are you joking about the divorce though;-))))))
Jeff Gaines...
|
No :-)
It was cited as an example of my unreasonable behaviour, along with
changing the TV channel while my ex was watching Coronation Street.
noreen...
|
Oh my goodness me;-))))))

I can understand the second one - you're lucky to still be alive I reckon.
:)

|
|
What do you use for Bobbie - a special doggie shampoo ?
Troy's Human...
|
Wife - expensive doggy shampoo.
Me - washing up liquid. All done in the kitchen sink :-)
Aries...
|
In the kitchen sink!! I couldn't do that it's unhygenic but I could use
the tilly room sink, that's larger anyway :)
Jeff Gaines...
|
I doubt a dog would catch anything from the sink, you could always wash
it round first?
noreen...
|
Like that one Jeff ;-))))))
|
Aries...
|
LOL - I don't think so ;)
|
|
|
OTOH Troy had his own bath. Do take a look at Troy having a bath :
noreen...

Oh that's a beauty TH;-))))

Aries...
|
LOL I remember seeing that, lovely :)

I reckon a hosepipe from about 10' away would be a far better idea. LOL

So cruel to doggies you are FN ;)

us from becoming self centred and inward looking. She makes us giggle too
so that can't be bad LOL
I'm not sorry we got her, but we both had to agree. If Tony hadn't wanted
to have another dog in the house then I would have had to abide by that,
only fair really.
Enjoy your new puter Donut, you won't be able to take it for walks but I
guarantee using it will make you cross at times but give you a laugh too :)

Just sometimes?
I would also delay shipments from the factory if we
|
had already made our bonuses, if you do to well the powers that be
expect you to do it again next year.
donut...
|
And *now* you admit it! I was with the CS and then Local Govt. ( we
*never* did anything like that) :-)))
..> Just think you only have 36 hrs to
wait............
Just trying to worry me? and I thought I had until 5th April!!.
I wish I knew how to move this stuff - I do not want to keep much. An
address book of all my friends and relatives in a data base made in Word.
Some folders I have in My Docs. and a load of e mails (which it would not
matter if I lost but they were good to refer back to).
Jeff Gaines...
|
If you can't copy it to an external drive or burn it to CD you could
email it to yourself. Get the new PC working and make sure you can
collect emails OK, then go back to the old PC, send yourself an email
with the files attached, count to 10 then collect your email on the new
PC!
Won't work with Linux unless you tweak it a bit but should be OK with
Windows.
donut...
|
Thanks Jeff - think I shall be able to burn it to CD.
Jeff Gaines...
|
Then you won't be able to sing 'I'm gonna sit right down and write
myself an email' :-)

Just think you only have 36 hrs to wait...............
