Nothing visible does happen, but a screen grab is pasted to the clipboard.
Pasting into Paint, or IrfanView, or PSP, or any image editor (as a new image
if you have the choice), will make it visible, and you can save it from
there.

individual email, which will be of no use to you at all.
I think it's something to do with the sliding bar on the right hand side of
the screen. When it's touching the bottom and I continue typing it moves up
slightly from the bottom, but I can't see what I'm typing, so I have to drag
the bar down again, or press return a few times.
I'll have a little play with it tomorrow Joe, if that's OK. I vaguely
remember having this problem a couple of years back and I printed out the
instructions someone gave me (pmj?) to put it right.

Clicking printscreen *appears* to do nothing but actually copies the screen
contents to the clipboard.
Do that then open up a new mail (make sure it *not* plain text) and then
right-click in the message area and choose "paste" to paste the screendump
into the mail. Add my address and send it.

fraction of the bottom line I'm typing shows and the rest is out of sight.
When I press the return bar, I can then see all the line I've just typed,
but the same thing happens to the new line, even when the sliding bar on the
bottom right of the screen is as far south as it will go. (OE and Windoze

Two possibilities come to mind.
Is the OE composition window actually a little lower than you think, so the
bottom edge is off the screen? Remember you can reposition the window,
provided it is not maximised.
Or 2, is the virtual screen larger than the physical screen - fiddle with the
controls on the monitor.

Hope all that makes sense, cos it's only been like that since it came back
from the poota hossie last week.
I can't see anything in "View" which would help. I'm sure it's something
simple, but it's a bit annoying. Can someone point me in the right direction
please?

Um, er, um, not sure Sandra. I think it was the Size and Move. I've got a
NetMeeting with pmj tomorrow evening so we're going to sort out the DVD
re-writer and the email problem at the same time.
Can't do it tonight cos I'm watching the footie:))))
